Using Guilt to Persuade

Guilt. It's a strong motivator.

Personally I don't feel it's the best way to persuade someone in most contexts because of the whole "ecology" thing.

The exception to that is in using guilt on yourself to persuade yourself to do something. Still, you have to use it sparingly. Just enough to put yourself into action but not too much to hang your head for very long.

Well, I've felt some guilt lately.

Over a year ago, I co-wrote a the book "Power Persuasion: Using Hypnotic Influence to Win In Life, Love and Business". It's a damn fine book and my publisher began very confident that he would move the whole bundle in a short time and after the first few months of feverish promotion I got busy and distracted and put it on the back burner in favor of other fun and profitable projects.

I'm feeling guilty about it and fear I didn't live up to my publishers expectations so I'm motivated now to promote it anew.

You can find out more about the book at http://power-persuasion.com/book and you would certainly make my publisher happier if you ordered right from him.

When you check it out you'll see I've made it very compelling by throwing in a whole lot of bonuses.

Okay, I feel a little better now.
